How do you make PromOat?
PromOat™ is made using a non-chemical production process in our new production plant in Kimstad, Sweden. All the oats that we use are grown locally and we adhere to strict traceablity procedures.
Is it completely natural?
Yes, and the molecular structure of the PromOat beta glucan is completely in tact after it has been separated from the rest of the oat bran. This is important in maintaining the health benefits of the oat and differentiates PromOat beta glucan from some of our competitors.
Is it approved or recognised?
Yes, beta glucan is approved by the FDA in the US and EFSA in Europe for heart health claims. A finished consumer product is required to have 0.75g of beta glucan per serving (based on four servings per day).
